The Short S.25 Sandringham Mk 4 flying boat VH-BRC, now registered to Ansett Flying Boat Services, performed a number of test flights from the Brisbane River, following its return to 'flying status' after being layed-up since January 1951. It was ferried to Sydney (Rose Bay) the following day, to undergo Department of Civil Aviation checks. |
