The Qantas Airways Boeing 707-338C VH-EBU 'City of Broken Hill' was rolled out in the airline's new 'ochre' livery. It was the first Boeing 707 to be repainted.

The Australian Aircraft Sales Douglas DC-9-31 VH-TJP departed Melbourne (Tullamarine) for the last time as Flight TN1397, on its ferry flight to the United States (Marana). It was then sold to Internation Lease Finance Company who then leased it to Sunworld International Airways.

The leased Air New Zealand Boeing 767-35HER ZK-NCM, arrived at Auckland (New Zealand) having completed its ferry flight from Manchester (United Kingdom) as Flight AIH097, on return to the airline, having completed its sub-lease to Airtours International Airways (UK) for the northern summer season.

On This Day - November 04, 2010.

The Qantas Airways Airbus A380-842 VH-OQA 'Nancy-Bird Walton' was badly damaged when the Number 2 engine sustained an uncontained engine fire, shortly after taking off from Singapore Airport. The aircraft was operating Flight QF32 from London to Sydney via Singapore. The flight crew were successful in returning to Singapore and making a safe landing despite the aircraft having sustained multiple system failures.
