The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-238B VH-EBQ 'City of Bunbury' was ferried from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Longreach (Queensland) as Flight QF6191, having been donated to the Qantas Founders Outback Museum. On engine shut-down at Longreach, the aircraft had flown 92,125 hours with 18,020 cycles. It is now preserved and on display at the museum.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 737-838 VH-XZJ 'Mendoowoorrji' arrived at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) having completed its delivery flight from the United States (Seattle). It was the airline's 193rd Boeing airliner, its 72nd Boeing 737 and the 5th Qantas aircraft to carry an 'aboriginal' themed livery.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGV operated its final revenue service as Flight QF462 from Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Sydney (Kingsford Smith). It was then withdrawn from use and prepared for its ferry flight to the United States for storage and onward sale.
