The Ansett Airlines Airbus A320-211 VH-HYJ, having been repainted into the 'Starmark' livery was the airline's first domestic aircraft to enter service, when it operated Flight AN16 from Melbournc (Tullamarine) to Sydney (Kingsford Smith).

The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438 VH-OJM 'Gosford' celebrated its 25th birthday - making it the oldest Boeing 747 in the Qantas fleet. It had also flown 113,546 hours, making it the highest time aircraft in Qantas history, to date.
