The Airwork New Zealand Boeing 737-484SF N962NZ arrived at Auckland (New Zealand) having completed its delivery flight from the United States (Dothan, Alabama) where it had been converted to an 'all-freight' configuration. It was reregistered as ZK-TLL before it entered service.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438ER VH-OEJ 'Wunala' was rolled-out at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) after having '2016 Olympic Games' decals applied to it. It returned to service later that day, operating Flight QF73 from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to the United States (San Francisco).

The QantasLink Bombardier DHC-8-315Q VH-SBT was ferried from Townsville to Brisbane as Flight QLK2514, after being repainted into the airline's 'Silver Roo' livery by Flying Colours. The aircraft was now named 'Rockhampton'.
