Qantas Airways' last Boeing 747-338 'Classic' VH-EBY 'City of Mildura' was ferried from Los Angeles (California) to Marana (Arizona) as Flight QF6012 for long-term storage, pending sale. On engine shut-down it had flown 86,555 hours with 15,771 cycles.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438ER VH-OEJ 'Wunala Dreaming' operated its final service in the aboriginal livery, as Flight QF8 from Dallas (Fort Worth) - Brisbane - Sydney (Kingsford Smith).

The Qantas Airways Boeing 737-838 VH-VZW 'Beaconsfield' arrived at Melbourne (Tullamarine) having completed its delivery flight from the United States (Seattle, Boeing Field) as Flight QF6024. It was the airline's 179th Boeing airliner and its 59th Boeing 737.

The Silk Air Boeing 737-8SA 9V-MGQ, arrived at Brisbane having completed its ferry flight from Singapore as Flight SQ8892. The aircraft had been leased to Virgin Australia Airlines.
