Following the completion of temporary repairs to the Ansett Flying Boat Services Short S.25 Sandringham Mk.4 flying boat VH-BRC 'Beachcomber' at Lord Howe Island, after its unfortunate accident when it broke its mooring during the night and was blown ashore by strong winds, the aircraft was returned to the island's lagoon and then flown back to the airline's base at Sydney (Rose Bay) where permanent repairs were carried out over the next two months. |
