The Ansett-ANA Vickers Viscount 832 VH-RMH transported the British pop-band 'The Beatles' from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Adelaide, during their Australian Tour.

The Air New Zealand Boeing 747-219B ZK-NZX was leased to Virgin Atlantic Airways for 5 months.

On This Day - June 12, 1995.

The Ansett Airlines Fokker F27-050 VH-FNJ, having been leased to Austraian Air Services for 2 years as OE-LFW, arrived at Brisbane having completed its ferry flight from Austria (Vienna) on return to Ansett at the end of the lease. It was reregistered as VH-FNJ on June 16.

On This Day - June 12, 2002.

The Ansett Australia British Aerospace 146-200A VH-JJQ was undergoing heavy maintenance at Brisbane when Ansett suspended all operations on September 12, 2001. The overhaul was approximately two-thirds complete at this point. As no offers were received to purchase the aircraft scrapping was commenced at Brisbane on this day.

The Cobham Aviation British Aerospace 146-300 VH-NJQ was withdrawn from service and stored at Adelaide (West Beach). It was gradually broken up for parts and later scrapped.
