It made an emergency landing at Brisbane and carefully inspected but no bomb was found on the aircraft. |

The Qantas Airways Boeing 737-838 VH-VXQ 'Retro Roo II' operated its last service in the 'Retro Roo' livery as Flight QF462 from Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Sydney (Kingsford Smith). It was then ferried from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Townsville later that day as Flight QF6122 for repainting by Flying Colours into the airline's standard 'silver roo' livery. |
