Following its recent conversion by Boeing at Seattle (Renton) to a Boeing 707-138B 'fan-jet engined' airliner, the Qantas Airways Boeing 707-138B VH-EBA 'City of Melbourne' was rolled out at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) in the airline's new 'V-Jet' livery.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 737-838 VH-VZF 'Jean Batten', now registered as ZK-ZQA, was ferried Melbourne (Tullamarine) - Auckland as Flight QF6021 for operation by Qantas Jetconnect. On arrival at Auckland the aircraft was officially named 'Jean Batten' at the welcoming ceremony.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGD departed Sydney (Kingsford Smith) for the last time, on its ferry flight to the United States (Victorville, California) as Flight QF6019, for long-term storage. It was acquired by Air Transport Services Group on April 22, 2010 and converted to an 'all-freight' configuration.
