This aircraft was badly damaged whilst landing at Launceston - August 03, 1983

It was operating the regular passenger flight from King Island - Wynyard - Launceston

All passengers and crew escaped uninjured

It was deemed to be uneconomical to repair and was written off and scrapped

Some parts including the wings were used in the restoration / repair of VH-CLX
