The Trans-Australia Airlines Bristol 170-31 Freighter VH-TBB 'William MacGregor' operated its final Papua New Guinea freight service, flying from Madang to Lae. It was then withdrawn from service and stored at Lae, until its sale to Australian Aircraft Sales (ACT) Pty Ltd in May 1968.

The British Aerospace 146-300 ZK-NZJ 'City of Nelson', registered to Bilmans Management Limited (Christchurch, New Zealand) and trading as Ansett New Zealand Limited, arrived at Christchurch (New Zealand) having completed its delivery flight from the United Kingdom (Hatfield).

The ex Air New Zealand Fokker F.27-5237 ZK-NFB, now reregistered as PK-MFG, departed Christchurch (New Zealand) on its ferry flight to Indonesia (Jakarta) for delivery to its new owner, Merpati Nusantara Airlines.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 737-838 VH-VXD 'Tenterfield' arrived at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) having completed its delivery flight from the United States (Seattle, Boeing Field) as Flight QF6020. It was the airline's 121st Boeing airliner and its 7th Boeing 737.

The Royal Australian Air Force Airbus A330-243MRTT A39-001 arrived at RAAF Base Amberley (Queensland), having completed its delivery flight from France (Toulouse). This aircraft was the first Airbus A330MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport) to be built by Airbus Industrie.

The QantasLink Airbus A320-232 VH-VQS 'Kangaroo Paw' arrived at Perth, having completed its ferry flight from Singapore (Seletar) as Flight JQ8993, where it had been repainted into the QantasLink 'New Roo' livery. It was the airline's first Airbus A320 to acquire this livery.
